Despite their success, Startline's process for managing new finance applications relied on manual steps and disparate systems. Recognising Startline's potential, ClearSky approached the challenge as a true Tech Enabler, bringing deep industry insight and visionary technical leadership. Our engagement began with a collaborative Discovery Series to identify key areas where technology could deliver measurable value. We used Ideation and Low-Fidelity Prototyping to visually demonstrate streamlined processes.
This strategic approach, built trust and confidence. The solution was delivered using an Agile model, built on robust Azure, .NET Core, SQL, and React architecture. We provided hands-on support, including out-of-hours assistance, working with Startline’s internal IT team, ensuring a successful long-term transition.
The new Dealership and New Business Portal dramatically improved the deal process team's efficiency, cutting the decision time for finance applications to just 15 minutes compared to the previous process which sometimes took days. This rapid turnaround time provides a significant, measurable business impact.
The streamlined platform led to a remarkable 40% increase in deal processing volume, demonstrating a huge leap in operational capacity. This efficiency also allowed for a 21% redeployment of staff from manual processing tasks to more strategic and value-adding roles, maximising internal human capital.
By enabling faster conversions and lead capture, the new platform directly contributed to Startline’s growth, including a 23% increase in revenue across the business during the project’s initial phase.
